Oxidized

Inspired by a trip to Toronto, this textile design explores the beauty of urban decay and architectural textures. Haydée Quesedo translated the city’s weathered surfaces and industrial atmosphere of the subway stations into fabric through experimental techniques, including rust, dye removal, and shibori. The result is a layered, tactile composition that captures the essence of time, erosion, and structure.
