This collection unites two previous textile projects, blending texture and print in a cohesive narrative. The knitwear was inspired by a striking photograph of a rainy day in Buenos Aires, Argentina, captured by my dear friend and photographer, Numas Zerpa. Drawing from the moody ambiance of the image, I created hand-knitted swatches using hand-dyed small gauge cotton yarn, paillettes, and beads to reflect its atmospheric depth.
Complementing the knitwear, the floral prints emerged from a separate textile project inspired by real flowers. I explored scale, repetition, and expressive brush strokes to create dynamic patterns.
Guided by the Soft Utilitarian trend forecast for 2025, I combined these elements into layered looks and complete outfits, featuring tops, bottoms, rain outerwear, and bags — versatile pieces designed for both function and style.
