In celebration of its 20th anniversary, CENTRO, one of Mexico City’s premier design institutions, partnered with Arts Thread to host a pioneering four-day international fashion symposium and runway show, coinciding with Design Week Mexico and the Día de los Muertos festival. The event brought together leading fashion schools from around the globe, including the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where Haydée Quesedo presented her work.
Focused on themes of diversity, innovation, sustainability, and the future of fashion, the event provided a vibrant platform for emerging designers to connect, share ideas, and showcase creative excellence. Participating schools included institutions from Italy, India, Japan, the U.S., Mexico, and beyond, highlighting global collaboration in contemporary fashion education.
